Hello! My name is Tomoko Migita.

In my essay, I wrote about vaccination against cervical cancer. My father and aunt are doctors, and my aunt works at Shiroyama Migita Iin. So I can get vaccine easily. May 2010, I vaccinated first Vaccination against cervical cancer. It costed me 12000yen. I thought it was too expensive. So I think vaccination against cervical cancer should be free for everyone. I have 3 main points about this problem.

First point is that young women are suspectible to cervical cancer. This disease rate rapidly increases from twenties to thirties. It means we are in danger right now. This is exactly our problem.

Second point is that cervical cancer is preventable. Usually cancer cannot be prevented, but cervical cancer can be prevent.

Last point is that the price of this vaccination is too expensive. Everybody should vaccinated this vaccine, but all of us don't do so. I think many people don't take this vaccine because of economical reason.

After listening my presentation, I hope everyone vaccinate this vaccination. Thank you for your listening.

How to write a love letter

Summary
In this video we can learn how to write a love letter. First, use decent paper in a neutral, soft color such as cream or white, and write with classy black or brown ink - no blues, greens or reds. Second, set the mood before you start to write. Third choose an endearing and personal greeting to head your letter. For example 'To my beautiful Kate' or 'My dearest Kate'. Forth, the main body of the letter could include all the reasons why you fell in love in the first place. Fifth, end with something upbeat and romantic. Last, you might decide to include a special extra with the letter. For example, to use perfume.

Opinion
I’ve never wrote love letter to tell my love. But after seeing this video I want to write love letter. I think to use perfume is very good idea. It is very romantic. If I have chance to write a love letter, I will be careful these points. I was very interested in this video.

How to be cool

Summary
This video lecture from “videojug.com” shows us how to be cool.
To be cool, we have five points. First point is that get some skills. Almost everything is good but videogame is not good. Second point is that don’t over-advertise. Third point is that get a gimmick. Forth point is that never be the last to leave the party. You got better things to do. Last point is that don’t do everything you’re told.


Opinion
Every step is very important to be cool. But I think “get some skills” is the most important point to be cool. I like a person who is doing some sports or can playing some music instruments. To have some skills is very important to be cool. I think to be cool is very difficult, but I also want to be cool, so I will try to do these points.

Robert Frost

Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 – January 29, 1963) was an American poet.

In the poet whose name is "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" I like last part "The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.". I like the sounds of "deep", "keep" and "sleep". I like snow becouse snow is very beautiful and mystic. I think this poem is very mistic.

"The road not taken" is difficult for me. I couldn't understand. It is abstract.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Introduction of the Main Characters
Harry Potter
He is an orphan. At first he doesn’t know his parents were great wizards. He is very brave and very good Quidditch player.
Ron Weasley
He is one of the best friends of Harry. He has many brothers and sisters. He is a blunderer. But he is brave.
Hermione Granger
She is one of the best friends of Harry. She is very clever and very good at magic.

Setting
They went Hogwarts which is magic school. One day Voldemort who is the roll of a villain appeared and tried to take the philosopher’s stone. And then Harry, Ron and Hermione prevented this.

Climax
Climax is the scene which Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the philosopher’s stone from Voldemote. Voldemote was very strong, but they accomplished in cooperation.

Theme of the Movie
Theme of this movie is how important friendship is. Harry defeated Voldemort, but if he didn’t have help of Ron and Hermione he could not defeat Voldemort. We cannot live alone. We need someone’s help to live. We need friends.

Evaluation
I think this movie is very interesting. I learned how important friends are. This is very important for us. When I felt comfortable or I had problems, my friends always help me. I think friends are my treasure.

Anne of Green Gables

Responding to the Plot: (a)If you were a character in the story, what would have done differently?
I think there are many differences between Anne and me.
One of the differences is that I don’t like fight, so if I were Anne I would forgive Gilbert at once. I thought Anne was too stubborn.
Second, I don’t like study, so if I were Anne I would not study hard and,I could not won the scholarship to pay for four years at Redmond College. I respect Anne in that point. Anne is very diligent, and I want to be so.

Analyzing 7 Literary Terms

1. Setting: on Prince Edward Island in Canada in the end of 19c
2. Point of View: The story is told from the third person.
3. Conflict: Anne has a competitive spirit to Gilbert since he played a trick to Anne. Anne and Gilbert rivaled in studying.
4. Climax: The scene which she graduated with the highest mark in English and won the scholarship to pay for four years at Redmond College. She studied very hard to get scholarship of Redmond College, and she carried out it.
5. Symbol: The red hair is a symbol of disgrace. She has a longing for black hair.
6. Irony: Anne hated Gilbert since he played a trick to her, but at last they became the best of friends.
7. Theme: The theme of this book is “Love” including friendship. Anne was an orphan so she didn’t have home, family and friends before she kept by Matthew and Marilla. She was loved by many people in Green Gables, and also she loved many people.

Reflecting on the story: (h)　What is something you learned from the story?

I learned how important love and friends are from this story. At first Marilla didn’t have good impression to Anne, and Marilla was going to sent Anne back to the asylum. But she changed her mind to keep her, and she loves Anne deeply. Anne didn’t know real love before she came to Green Gables, but in Green Gables she was loved deeply. And she got happiness.
Gilbert and Anne were rivals, but at last scene Gilbert changed his place of work for Anne, and Gilbert and Anne became the best of friends.
People cannot live without help of other people. Mutual help is very important for us to live. I learned this from this story.

How to be the perfect boyfriend

Summary
In this video we can learn how to be a perfect boyfriend. Being the perfect boyfriend can be a bit of a challenge. We have seven steps to be a perfect boyfriend. First, listen to her because Girls like to talk a lot. May be you don't really understand such as shopping, makeup, and feelings, but you have to listen to her because it is very important to your girlfriend. Second, love her friends and family. Third, be a man. To carry her bag or open doors are good action. Forth, in the bed room you need to play your woman like a piano. Fifth, surprise her. Sixth, be hygienic. You have to take shower regularly, always brush your teeth and stay well groomed. Seventh, be faithful.


Opinion Every step is very important to be the perfect boyfriend. But I think step 1 “listen to her” is the most important step to be a perfect boyfriend. I am very talkative. I love telephone, and I want to talk everything about me to my boyfriend, so I think step 1 is the most important step. I also think step 3 “be a man” is very important. I like gentle man. When a man carries my bag or open doors for me I always think he is very cool. I always think I want to have boyfriend who is gentle man. My boyfriend is not a perfect boyfriend, but I like him. May be men need not to be perfect boyfriend. But I think to make effort is important.
