City and country

There are some differences between the city and the country.
The first difference is the size and the shape of house. In the city, the price of land is very high. So it is very difficult for the greater part of us to have large land. As the land is small, the shape of the house becomes tall. Contrastively the price of land is very low in the country. So it is easy for many people to have large land. As the land is large, the shape of the house is flat and the size of the house is large. And in the country, we can get the land inexpensively. So it is good for us to do agriculture in the country.
The second difference is traffic. In the city, the street is narrow and there are many cars, so it often has traffic jam. And there are many kinds of train in the city. In the country, there aren’t so many cars, so it rarely has traffic jam. And there aren’t so many kinds of train in the country.
The third difference is the store. In the city, there are many stores. And the store keeps a large variety of goods in stock. On the other hand the number of stores in the country are fewer than that in the city. And the store has a limited selection of goods in the country.

Summary
Japan became the first team to qualify for the 2010 World Cup by winning 1-0 away at Uzbekistan on Saturday. There was a drama in the 89th minutes when Japan midfielder Makoto Hasebe was shown a straight red card for raising his arm into the face of Djeparov in a blocking action. The Wolfsburg player was reluctant to leave the pitch, while Japan coach Takeshi Okada was sent to the stands for protesting the decision.

My opinion
I think it is very good for Japan. The depression is very bad now. But I think this thing make the situation better than now. People will be cheered up by this news. And when World Cup starts it bring economic growth.

Mt Takao

I live in Hachioji. Hachioji is a big city in Tokyo. Hachioji Is in Tokyo, but it isn’t a crowded urban city. Hachioji is very beautiful city.
I think Mt. Takao is the most beautiful place in Hachioji. I have been climbed it five times. Mt. Takao has been printed in Michelin. (Michelin is the sightseeing guide book written in France. Michelin evaluate the place with using a number of stars. The full stars are three.) Mt. Takao has been gotten three stars.
Mt. Takao has three sales points. First, Mt. Takao has 6 hiking courses, so you can choose the course adapt yourself. Second, Mt. Takao has a cable car, so everybody who is even young or old people can reach top. Third, there are many delicious restaurants. Most famous restaurant is Soba restaurant. About three millions of people climb Mt. Takao every year. I think the reason why many people climb Mt. Takao is the place. To go to Mt. Takao from Tokyo station it only takes only one hour. So it is easy to climb Mt. Takao for many people.
Recently many people commit suicide because of stress in dairy lives. I think these people need a change. A forest bath is very good for a change. Mt. Takao has many kinds of trees and flowers, and fresh air. So we can refresh. And Mt. Takao is not severe. It is just good for refresh yourself in weekend. So if you feel heavy stress, be sure to come to Mt. Takao. You can relax.
I love my home town. If you had a chance to visit Hachioji please be sure to climb Mt. Takao.

I want to talk about my memory of childhood.
When I was in the third grade in an elementary school, I learned how to vault a horse in physical education class. I tried to vault a horse. But I couldn’t. When I looked around, I realized that three quarters of the students could vault a horse. They vaulted easily as if they had wings on the backs. I was amazed at that and I was patient with myself at the same time. I observed them and I tried it over and over again. But I couldn’t do it. Every time I was on the horse after I took off a springboard. (Actually I felt a pain in my hip each time.) I was sad that I didn’t have any wings. After all, I still couldn’t vault a horse. The horse seemed to be a big and tall monster for me. I was afraid of it.
After school, my teacher gave special lesson for students who couldn’t vault a horse in physical education class. Seven students including me took part in the special lesson. At first, the teacher asked us to try one more again. Then, she advised each student privately. She said to me ‘Yes you can.’ I tried again. But I still couldn’t. Suddenly she left a gym. A few minutes later, she returned with a gummed tape in her hand. Then she stuck a piece of gummed tape on the horse. And she told that the tape showed you the position which you should touch by your hands. The tape looked farther than the position I always touched. So I had to take off the springboard more strongly than usual. I made up my mind to start running toward the horse. After taking off the springboard strongly, my hands reached the tape. My body rose up in the air and I could vault the horse perfectly. I thought I had a big wings.

In the forth period I had reading class, and I was called on to read some paragraphs. we are using "My New York". This textbook is small so I like it. This book is easy to bring.
